Oak and Mahogany Longcase Clock Circa 1800

An oak Longcase clock with mahogany detailing. The hood with swan neck cresting to an arched painted dial, blue field with gilt spandrels and drummer boy cartouche. The dial numbered with Arabic numerals, a seconds dial and gilded date aperture. The hood further decorated with plain mahogany columns and brass petera.

The trunk door having a shaped  top and mahogany cross banding. The trunk having canted corners in mahogany.

Eight day four pillar, movement striking on a bell.

Later (early twentieth cent) bracket feet.
